La’nica Locker is a talented Antiguan sprinter and sophomore at Hinds Community College, known for her exceptional speed in the 200m event. In 2025, she made headlines by breaking Joella Lloyd's national record with a remarkable time of 22.99 seconds at the NJCAA Outdoor Championships, becoming the first Antiguan junior and second female overall to break the 23-second barrier. Locker's impressive performance also included winning the NJCAA Indoor 200m title earlier in the season, solidifying her status as one of the Caribbean's premier sprint prospects. She is set to compete against top athletes in the upcoming ABAA National Championships.
