Lácides Castellanos

Lácides Castellanos was a prominent campesino leader and coffee farmer from the rural area of Tenjo in Palmira, Valle del Cauca, Colombia. He was known for his active participation in community meetings aimed at improving agricultural practices in the region. Tragically, he was recently murdered in his home by armed assailants, shocking and grieving the community that valued his contributions and leadership.
