Lai William

Lai William, also known as Lai Ching-te, is a Taiwanese politician serving as the 15th Premier of the Republic of China since January 2023. A member of the Democratic Progressive Party, he has previously held various governmental positions, including Vice Premier and Minister of Health and Welfare. Lai is known for his advocacy of Taiwan's sovereignty and public health reforms, as well as his proactive approach to enhancing national defense and public safety amidst rising geopolitical tensions.
