Laia Asens was a close acquaintance of Jordi Fibla, having spent many years working alongside him at Karns Fibla, a gourmet butcher shop in Badalona. She expressed concern for him as he struggled with homelessness and personal challenges following their separation, and she was one of the last people to see him before his tragic death.
