Laimonas Daukša

Laimonas Daukša is the director of the Lithuanian Hunters and Fishermen Association (LMŽD), known for his advocacy on environmental issues, particularly regarding the conservation of river ecosystems. Recently, he expressed strong opposition to the dredging of the Neris and Nemunas rivers, arguing that such activities threaten the rich biodiversity of these waterways and could lead to the destruction of fish spawning grounds and other critical habitats.
