Lakhan

Lakhan, also known as Pappan, is a 70-year-old man from Richmond Hill, Leguan, who grew up in poverty with his father and nine siblings. Despite never experiencing the joys of Christmas in his childhood, he fondly recalls the special meals his father would prepare, such as duck or chicken curry, enjoyed with dal and rice. After marrying Indira, Lakhan worked diligently alongside her in farming and selling produce at the Parika Market, gradually improving their living conditions and providing a better life for their children.
