Lalith Veerasingham

Lalith Veerasingham is a human rights activist who, along with fellow activist Kugan Muruganandan, went missing in December 2011 in the Jaffna region of Sri Lanka. Their disappearance has raised significant concerns regarding human rights violations in the country and has led to ongoing legal battles initiated by their families. Recently, former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa expressed his readiness to testify in court regarding the ongoing cases related to their abduction.
