Colonel Lamin K. Sanyang is a senior officer in the Gambian Armed Forces known for his extensive educational background in military leadership and national defense. He recently returned to serve as the spokesperson for the GAF, a role that enhances the military's public communication efforts. Colonel Sanyang holds multiple degrees including a Master’s in National Defence from the Royal College of Higher Military Education in Morocco, a BSc in Automation and Computer-Integrated Systems from Ukraine, and an Associate Degree in Avionics from the United States. His experience also includes participation in various military courses, such as the Emerging Security Sector Leaders Seminar in Washington D.C. He succeeds Major Malick Sanyang, who is currently furthering his education in Nigeria.
