Lamis Mahmoud is a young Palestinian woman who recently married but has been unable to live with her husband due to the ongoing closure of the Gaza Strip's borders. She is hopeful that the Rafah border crossing with Egypt will reopen soon, allowing her to begin her married life in Germany.
