Lana Estemirova

Lana Estemirova is the daughter of renowned Chechen human rights activist Natalia Estemirova, who was kidnapped and murdered in 2009. At the age of 15, Lana vowed to honor her mother's legacy by writing a book that details their relationship and the human rights abuses in Chechnya, which has now been published as 'Please Live'. The book serves as a memoir and a historical account, reflecting on the sacrifices made by her mother in the pursuit of justice.
