Lance Macklin

Lance Macklin was a British racing driver who was involved in the catastrophic events of the 1955 Le Mans race, where an incident he was part of led to the death of Pierre Levegh and many spectators. His decision to swerve to avoid a collision inadvertently contributed to one of the darkest days in motorsport history.
