Larry Buendorf

Larry Buendorf was a dedicated Secret Service agent best known for his heroic actions during an assassination attempt on President Gerald R. Ford in 1975, where he successfully subdued the assailant, Lynette Fromme. After a distinguished career in the Secret Service, he served as the chief security officer for the United States Olympic Committee until his retirement in 2018.
