Lars Banke

Lars Banke, along with his wife Diana, co-owned KD Air, a now-defunct airline based on Vancouver Island. He regarded Shaheer Cassim as a highly intelligent and quick-learning pilot during his time at the airline. In light of Cassim's recent hijacking charges, Lars expressed concern over the drastic change in behavior, noting that while Cassim had shown interest in environmental issues, he had never discussed religious beliefs with them, making the incident all the more shocking.
