Lattmann Béla
Lattmann Béla (1960-2023) was a prominent Hungarian bassist and music educator, known for his extensive contributions to jazz and contemporary music. Born in Dorog, he began his musical studies at the Erkel Ferenc Music School and graduated from the Győr College of Music and the Bartók Béla Conservatory. As a versatile musician, he performed with several renowned bands, including the Charlie Band and Zorán's ensemble, and participated in numerous international tours and festivals. He was also a dedicated educator at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, where he contributed to the development of bass guitar education. Lattmann received multiple awards throughout his career, including the Knight's Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary.
