Laura Dalmajer was a celebrated German biathlete and Olympic champion, known for her remarkable achievements in the sport, including seven gold medals at the World Championships and multiple podium finishes in the World Cup. After retiring from biathlon in 2019 at the young age of 25, she pursued her passion for mountaineering and became a certified mountain and ski guide. Tragically, she lost her life during a climbing expedition in Pakistan's Karakoram mountain range.
