Laura Fitzgerald

Laura Fitzgerald is a single mother of three children living in Clongriffin, Co Dublin. Recently, she faced a devastating situation when her car was submerged due to flooding caused by torrential rain. A former state care resident, Laura has been struggling to afford high rent while studying and caring for her children, including her nine-year-old son with autism. Her challenges have been compounded by the flood damage to her vehicle, which she describes as the only thing she owns.
