Laura Fontana

Laura Fontana was a prominent historian of the Holocaust and a vital figure in memory education in Italy. She passed away at the age of 61, leaving a significant legacy through her role in promoting the 'Viaggi della Memoria', an educational initiative that began in 1964, which took students to Holocaust sites such as Mauthausen.
