Laura Jašková

Laura Jašková is a Slovak musician and bassist, recognized for her contributions to the duo Meowlau X Val alongside Valentina Vlková. With a rich musical background influenced by her family, who are involved in classical music, Laura has honed her craft through various instruments, ultimately finding her passion for the bass guitar. She completed her studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and has also performed with the band Billy Barman. Laura's musical journey began in childhood, and she has since garnered acclaim for her performances at prestigious festivals. Her work with Meowlau X Val reflects her creative versatility, combining genres and addressing contemporary themes, including LGBTI+ representation in music. Laura's dynamic presence and deep connection with her audience continue to solidify her role in the Slovak music scene.
