Lauren Melodia

Lauren Melodia is the director of economic and fiscal policy at the Center for New York City Affairs at the New School, where she studies the costs associated with public policy initiatives, particularly in relation to child care and its economic implications. She has been actively involved in analyzing the feasibility of ambitious proposals, such as those put forth by mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani.
