Lauren Wyllie

Lauren Wyllie is a Hawke's Bay paramedic who is currently facing a battle with metastatic cancer. After initially responding well to treatment, she received the devastating news that her cancer had returned and was now deemed incurable. Wyllie has experienced significant challenges within New Zealand's healthcare system, including being told there were no further treatment options available. However, a second opinion led to a different diagnosis and a new treatment path, including a mastectomy. As she seeks to fund life-extending treatment, Wyllie is actively engaging her community for support through fundraising efforts.
