Lavender Akinyi

Lavender Akinyi is a 19-year-old Kenyan who transformed her struggle with rejection as a teenage mother into a powerful mission for empowerment. By joining Polycom Girls, she regained her confidence and now leads a mentorship program called Women for Teens, which connects young mothers with older women to discuss sexual and reproductive health. Akinyi is also pursuing her studies in social work and community development, driven by her passion to help other young mothers overcome stigma and build better futures.
