Lavern Wedderburn
Lavern Wedderburn, a 49-year-old woman from Rocky Hill in Sheffield, has been charged in connection with the concealment of the mummified body of 69-year-old Viola Destin, who was found in July 2023. Along with another woman, Gena Robinson, Wedderburn is accused of preventing the lawful burial of Destin's remains after they took her in when she became gravely ill.
