Lawrence Barasa Masinde

Lawrence Barasa Masinde, a Nairobi County employee, is facing trial for allegedly receiving over Sh7 million in salaries through a forged diploma certificate from Eldoret National Polytechnic. He has been charged with forgery, fraudulent acquisition of public property, and other related offenses, following a ruling by the Milimani Anti-Corruption Court which found that he has a case to answer. Barasa has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is preparing to defend himself in court.
