He played a crucial role in the pickleball scene as well, representing the Zorba X club and partnering with notable players like Lý Hoàng Nam. Tiển's unexpected passing on January 10, 2023, following a stroke, left a deep void in the sports community, as he was actively engaged in competition and coaching, with plans to participate in an upcoming major pickleball tournament.
