Le Ngoc Son

Lê Ngọc Sơn is a Vietnamese engineer and executive, born in 1972, who has recently been appointed as the Chairman of the Member Council of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN). He holds a master's degree in mining technology and has held various significant positions within the company, including Director of Oil and Gas Exploration and Production, and General Director of PVN since March 2024. His leadership is marked by a strong focus on oil and gas exploration, contributing to the strategic development of Vietnam's energy sector. On December 26, 2025, he was officially appointed by Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính during a conference that highlighted PVN's impressive business performance, exceeding revenue targets for the year.
