Leah Hobson is a newly-qualified midwife who recently began her career at Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin, Scotland, the same hospital where she was born 21 years ago. Her journey into midwifery was inspired by the birth of her niece when she was nine years old, and she has always aspired to work in this field, focusing on improving local maternity care. Leah was famously known as 'Pinkie' for the first two months of her life while her mother decided on her name, a fact that has connected her with Carol Bennett, the midwife who cared for her as a baby and is now her colleague.
