Leah Wanjiru

Leah Wanjiru is a local resident in Gilgil, Kenya, who witnessed the devastating fire at the Utumishi Girls' Academy Senior School. She reported hearing children screaming during the incident and rushed to the scene to assist in efforts to extinguish the flames and rescue students trapped inside.
