Ledye Machuca

Ledye Machuca is the superior prosecutor for Family Affairs in Panama, responsible for overseeing investigations into abuses within state-run centers and shelters for children and adolescents. Recently, she explained that her office opened 49 investigations from 2017 to 2024, resulting in multiple convictions for individuals involved in the mistreatment of vulnerable minors under state care.
