
Lee Roy Jordan
Lee Roy Jordan was a celebrated linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys, renowned for his key role in the team's 'Doomsday Defense' and as part of the franchise's first Super Bowl-winning squad in 1971. A first-round draft pick in 1963, he became a five-time Pro Bowler and was the first player inducted into the Cowboys' Ring of Honor under owner Jerry Jones. Jordan, who amassed 1,236 tackles during his career, was also recognized for his leadership and commitment to community service after retiring from football in 1976. He passed away at the age of 84.
