Leidy Cabral

Leidy Cabral, a dedicated member of the Frente Amplio political party in Uruguay, served as a councilor and president of the Departmental Council of Salto. At 46 years old, she tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident when her vehicle collided head-on with a truck while traveling on Route 3. Her commitment to activism and public service was remembered fondly by colleagues, including former mayor Andrés Lima, who praised her as a great companion in the struggle for social and political change.
