Leighton Leevard

Leighton Leevard is a young motorsport enthusiast from New Zealand who has bravely overcome a rare heart condition known as AVM, which he was diagnosed with as a baby. Following a critical heart operation at 14 months old, Leevard has pursued his passion for racing, starting in junior dragsters and transitioning to ministock racing. Known as 'The Heartstopper Kid,' he has achieved remarkable success on the track, including being named Rookie Champion at the Future of Speedway event. Alongside his racing career, he serves as an ambassador for Heart Kids NZ and has ventured into acting, working with notable figures like Oprah Winfrey.
