Leihani Zoric

Leihani Zoric is a 12-year-old Indigenous surfing prodigy from northern New South Wales, Australia. From a young age, she has been immersed in the surfing lifestyle, catching her first wave as a mere two days old. Coming from a family of surfers, Zoric has developed a deep love for the ocean, often expressing her joy in spending time in the water with her family and friends. She aims to become the youngest winner of a World Junior ISA title and will showcase her talent at the upcoming Seas the Day surfing event, the largest women's surfing festival globally. Drawing strength from her Indigenous heritage and her grandfather's connection to the land, Zoric finds inspiration in surfing legends like Carissa Moore and Erin Brooks, as she embraces her identity with her totem, the dolphin.
