Leila Suleiman is a 16-year-old student from Toronto who, along with her friends, organized a celebration to welcome Ramadan at Nathan Phillips Square, marking the first time such an event was held in this location. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the significance of Ramadan and promote understanding of Islamic teachings in the context of rising Islamophobia.
