Lejla Pahlavi
Lejla Pahlavi, born in 1970, was the youngest daughter of the last Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. After the Iranian Revolution in 1979, her family was forced into exile, leading to a life marked by instability and trauma. Despite her beauty and aristocratic lineage, Lejla struggled with severe mental health issues, including depression and anorexia, exacerbated by her family's tumultuous past. She pursued a career in modeling and briefly studied literature and philosophy but ultimately succumbed to her demons. Tragically, Lejla died from a drug overdose in 2001, a victim of her struggles with addiction and the weight of her family's legacy.
