Lelio Basso

Lelio Basso was an Italian lawyer and human rights advocate, known for his commitment to social justice and the defense of human rights. He co-founded the Permanent Peoples’ Tribunal (PPT) in 1979, a non-governmental organization that seeks to address issues of state accountability and human rights violations through legal processes.
