Lenin Vargas Guido

Lenin Vargas Guido was a celebrated Costa Rican actor and drama teacher, known for his significant contributions to the theater community. Born in 1949, he studied at the Instituto Cinematográfico Teatral de Radio y Televisión Andrés Soler in Mexico City. Throughout his career, he not only performed in numerous acclaimed productions but also dedicated many years to teaching the art of drama, nurturing young talent in Costa Rica. He was the father of chef Daniel Vargas and the nephew of the famous singer Chavela Vargas, with whom he shared a profound familial bond. Lenin passed away on May 25, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving behind a legacy of artistry and mentorship.
