Leon Reif
Leon Reif was a Polish Jew who survived the Holocaust due to the intervention of a German industrialist, who classified him as a skilled worker, thus saving him from deportation. His experiences during this dark chapter of history were shared by his son, Marcel Reif, who honored his father's legacy during a speech at the Bundestag on Holocaust Remembrance Day in 2024.
