Leonardo Azócar

Leonardo Azócar is a Venezuelan activist and member of the Sindicato Único de Trabajadores de la Industria Siderúrgica y sus Similares (Sutiss). He was detained in June 2023 alongside fellow unionist Daniel Romero by the Dirección General de Contrainteligencia Militar (Dgcim), prompting concerns from human rights organizations regarding the treatment of political prisoners in Venezuela.
