Leonardo Deras

Leonardo Deras is the commissioner of the National Electric Energy Commission (Cree) in Honduras. He recently announced an extension of the payment period for electricity bills to 28 days, a measure aimed at providing greater flexibility for consumers. This decision was made in response to requests from subscribers who found the previous payment period insufficient. Deras emphasized the importance of this change as a consensus with distribution companies to ensure a fair solution for customers, allowing them more time to manage their payments without falling into arrears.
