Leonora Jiménez

Leonora Jiménez is a Costa Rican model and advocate who has spent 25 years in the modeling industry, starting her career at the age of 15. Despite not initially dreaming of becoming a model, she leveraged her success to travel and explore the world. Leonora has bravely shared her 22-year struggle with bulimia, which began in her school years amidst bullying. She highlights the dark side of the modeling world, which often promotes unrealistic body images, contributing to her long battle with the disorder. Now, she is focused on addressing bullying and mental health issues in Costa Rica, aiming to reduce the country's high rates of bullying and suicide.
