Leopold Strand

Leopold Strand is an emerging Norwegian cross-country skier who recently made headlines by winning the gold medal in the 10-kilometer classic event at the Junior World Championships. At just 18 years old, Strand is recognized as a significant talent in the sport, having previously secured a silver medal in the sprint event at Lillehammer. Standing at 1.93 meters tall, he showcased his dominance by finishing the 10-kilometer race with a remarkable lead of 29.6 seconds over his nearest competitor. Strand is also part of Petter Northug's private training team, where he has been honing his skills and learning from one of Norway's most celebrated skiers.
