Leopold Weiss

Leopold Weiss, who later converted to Islam and took the name Muhammad Asad, was an Austrian journalist and writer known for his influential works on Islam and Islamic philosophy. His translation of the Quran is regarded as one of the most significant contributions to the understanding of Islamic texts in the English-speaking world.
