Leopoldo Lester Caballero, a 69-year-old resident of La Floresta in Vacamonte, Arraiján, Panama, made headlines after disappearing on April 12 while searching for palm fronds for Palm Sunday celebrations. His disappearance prompted an extensive eight-day search operation involving multiple emergency services, including the Panamanian Red Cross and the National Aeronaval Service, but unfortunately, no trace of him was found. The case has since been handed over to the Public Ministry for further investigation, leaving his family in a state of deep concern and uncertainty.
