Lesja Levitska

Lesja Levitska is a 58-year-old resident of Dovhe village in the Lviv region of Ukraine. She is one of the women who gathers every evening at the local church to pray for the soldiers fighting in the ongoing conflict and for victory in the war. Her community has been holding these prayer meetings for 1,382 consecutive days, reflecting the deep impact of the conflict on her life and the lives of those around her.
