Li Dengshan

Li Dengshan, an 80-year-old villager from Taosi Village in Xiangfen County, Shanxi, is a prominent representative inheritor of the Tian Tower Lion Dance, a traditional art form with over a thousand years of history that has been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage since 2006. Over the past decade, he has collaborated with the Xiangfen County Vocational Education Center to train over a hundred lion dance performers, ensuring the cultural legacy of this spectacular performance continues to thrive.
