Liam James Hockings

Liam James Hockings, a beloved member of the Newtown community, tragically lost his life in the Loafers Lodge hostel fire at the age of 50. Known for his intelligence and caring nature, he is remembered fondly by his family and friends. Liam had a connection to prominent figures, including now-Prime Minister Chris Hipkins, as they both participated in activism against the privatization of education during their university years.
