Liao Hansheng

Liao Hansheng served as the political commissar of the 716th Regiment in the Eighth Route Army during the Second Sino-Japanese War. He played a vital role in the Yanmen Pass ambush, supporting military operations and contributing to the overall morale and political education of the troops engaged in guerrilla warfare against Japanese forces.
