Lida Politi

Lida Politi is a field epidemiologist and the head of the Microbial Resistance and Healthcare-Associated Infections Department at the Hellenic National Public Health Organization (EODY). She has been vocal about the prevalence of Candida Auris in Greek hospitals and has advocated for mandatory reporting of cases to improve the tracking and management of this serious fungal infection.
