Líder Quiñónez is a Paraguayan mariachi singer who has dedicated over three decades to performing traditional Mexican music, including boleros, rancheras, and corridos. Originally arriving in Asunción with aspirations of a football career, he discovered his passion for music while working in the Mercado 4. Quiñónez is known for his performances at various events such as weddings and birthdays, where he often collaborates with a small group of musicians. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, which drastically reduced the number of performances, he remains committed to his craft, relying on self-taught skills and a love for the music of Vicente Fernández.
