Liena Baklāne

Liena Baklāne was a talented Latvian painter born on March 23, 1976, in Riga. She graduated from the Latvian Academy of Arts in 2002, specializing in painting. Known for her ability to capture moments and emotions in her artwork, she drew inspiration from nature and the intricate details of life. Throughout her career, Baklāne participated in numerous solo exhibitions, and her works have found homes in private collections across multiple countries, including Latvia, Estonia, and the United States. Tragically, she passed away prematurely on July 29, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of creativity and passion for art.
